An Organization Assists Clients Who Are Facing Critical Civil Legal Issues is recruiting for an experienced attorney to lead ALSC's Fairbanks law office. The Fairbanks Supervising Attorney is responsible for the supervision of attorney and support staff, caseload management and review, maintaining a general caseload including litigation before courts and administrative agencies, and overseeing the administrative functions of the Fairbanks office. This position also has responsibility for the preparation of grant applications and reports, serving as an agency representative in the community, including conducting community legal education, and travel to rural communities in the Interior.

Required: Minimum of three years legal experience. Applicants must be admitted to practice law in Alaska or admitted to practice in another state and be eligible for an Alaska Bar Rule 43 waiver. Computer proficiency (Windows operating system, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Internet, e-mail and data entry).
