What You'll Do:
- Review and analyze legal documents and instruments primarily related to easements in the Farm and Ranch Lands Protection Program (FRPP) of the United State Department of Agriculture.
- Document findings in EXCEL and other reporting formats.
- Communicate with local governments across the United States regarding real estate records.
- Contribute to the preparation of periodic reports describing the Clinic's activities as to the FRPP program
- Supervise fellows and 3rd year law students regarding the FRPP project
Qualifications:
- J.D. From ABA - accredited law school
- Three or more years prior work in real estate office is preferred.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Knowledge of laws, legal codes, government regulations,
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Word and EXCEL
- Proficiency in Google platforms including Google Docs and Zoom
- Strong ability to multi-task multiple projects
- Ability to write effectively
- Ability to collaborate efficiently with co-investigators of different disciplines
- Ability to supervise a team effectively
- Demonstrated ability to problem solve
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to maintain proper attendance and dependable work ethic
