What You'll Do:
  • Review and analyze legal documents and instruments primarily related to easements in the Farm and Ranch Lands Protection Program (FRPP) of the United State Department of Agriculture.
  • Document findings in EXCEL and other reporting formats.
  • Communicate with local governments across the United States regarding real estate records.
  • Contribute to the preparation of periodic reports describing the Clinic's activities as to the FRPP program
  • Supervise fellows and 3rd year law students regarding the FRPP project

Qualifications:
  • J.D. From ABA - accredited law school
  • Three or more years prior work in real estate office is preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Knowledge of laws, legal codes, government regulations,
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Word and EXCEL
  • Proficiency in Google platforms including Google Docs and Zoom
  • Strong ability to multi-task multiple projects
  • Ability to write effectively
  • Ability to collaborate efficiently with co-investigators of different disciplines
  • Ability to supervise a team effectively
  • Demonstrated ability to problem solve
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to maintain proper attendance and dependable work ethic
