Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior Associate Attorney to join our legal team. As a Senior Associate Attorney, you will be responsible for providing legal support and assistance to our clients. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about the law and wants to make a difference in people's lives.
This position requires an attorney with substantial experience in estate planning, trust, probate, tax, business and real estate. An Estate Planning Law Firm is a 5 attorney boutique law firm with experience handling high net worth clients. Opportunity for near-future firm ownership interest for the experienced applicant.
Experience:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Seven (7) plus years experience in Estate, Gift, GSTT, Income, and California Property Tax
- Admission to the California State Bar
- Tax Accounting background or advanced tax degree
- Experience drafting advanced tax planning trusts and entities
- Probate court experience drafting petitions and motions as well as appearances
- Experience creating business entities (corporations, partnerships, LLC's)
- Basic understanding of real estate sales and transfers
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in legal research tools such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
