Employees in this role act as the senior legal advisor to the company and senior management in a functional area or discipline. Individuals require a high level of professional expertise and experience with major financial implications to the company or a business unit.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Provides legal advice and service on complex legal issues and examines facts and law to determine advisability of defending or prosecuting lawsuits
Represents the company in litigation, regulatory proceedings, government investigations, and legal transactions
Ensures compliance with company Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and ensures reporting of potentially material legal issues to audit function and senior management
Performs other job-related duties as assigned
