Description:

A Global Execution Platform has a great opportunity to work with the Office of the General Counsel (OGC), an independent legal agency within the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), is seeking a Senior Environmental Law Attorney to join our team on a contract basis. This position offers the flexibility to work remotely, with the ability to accommodate after-hours and weekend schedules.

Requirements:

U.S. Citizen
Must have a minimum of 10 years of experience practicing environmental law and transactional work.
Experience with statutory review, statutory compliance, writing legal memos, and writing policy.
Familiarity with the National Historic Preservation Act Section 106 preferred.
Experience with ownership rights of carbon injected into pore space is a plus.
