A Law Firm Handling of Complex Litigation Matters's, office in Phoenix, is seeking an Associate Attorney with 4-8 years of legal experience that is licensed in both Arizona and California to practice law. We particularly are looking for someone with experience in the areas of complex civil litigation, construction, and personal injury matters. This is a hybrid position. Responsibilities:
- Case evaluation, recommendation, and support.
- Communicate with client and counsel.
- Propound and respond to discovery.
- Perform legal research and draft memoranda.
- Draft complaints, motions, and other pleadings and documents.
- Prepare for, take, and defend depositions.
- Prepare for and attend court hearings.
- Prepare for and attend mediation.
- Provide excellent service to all clients.
Qualifications:
- Four to eight years of civil litigation experience.
- Must be in good standing with the Arizona and California State Bars.
- Strong research and writing skills.
- Ability to work independently and to multitask while demonstrating strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication and time management skills.
- Familiarity with courts, E-Filing, Excel, Word, IManage, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
