Full Job Description:
A Law Firm in Livingston, TX, a real estate, probate and civil litigation boutique in East Texas, is searching for associate attorneys for an average of 40 hours per week with a hybrid of in-office and remote work, depending on experience and skill level. The firm's principal office is in Livingston, Texas.

Duties:
Manage a docket of cases assigned, including:
  • Communicate with clients, team members and opposing counsel to answer questions, disseminate or explain information;
  • Effectively delegate paralegal and administrative tasks when appropriate;
  • Review client files, records, and other documents to obtain information as needed;
  • Review facts and evidence and assist in evaluation of facts and evidence;
  • Research legal questions;
  • Locate and interview witnesses;
  • Draft pleadings, memoranda and legal briefs for firm clients;
  • Review pleadings to be filed;
  • Prepare for hearings and trials ans appear in court when needed; and
  • Handle special projects.
  • Accurately bill 6.2 hours daily, for a minimum of 130 hours per month;
  • Support the other attorneys and paralegals with legal tasks as needed;
  • Comprehend and analyze large amounts of data and other information, such as records or reports;
