Coachella Valley Lawyers is seeking an experienced public law attorney to join its Orange County, Palm Springs or Indian Wells office. This position offers the opportunity to work on complex transactions, provide legal support to cities, special districts, joint powers authorities and water districts.The ideal candidate will have knowledge of and experience with the following:
- Public Agency Law
- Advanced writing and research skills
- Land Use and Planning
- Attendance at public meetings
- Working with public agency staff and local elected officials
- Reviewing and drafting contracts
- Providing advice regarding the Brown Act, the Public Records Act, and conflicts of interest.
