We are seeking a driven and ambitious Attorney to join the A Pensacola Personal Injury Attorney. We are looking for an experienced Personal Injury or Criminal Attorney to help us continue our current growth and expansion. You will be responsible for representing clients in a wide range of cases, interpreting laws and advising clients of their legal rights and options, conduct through research, and when necessary, represent your clients in court.

To excel in this role, you will display a passion and a demand for justice, a strong understanding of litigation strategies, and exceptional public-speaking skills. You must demonstrate compassion toward your clients and conduct yourself in a professional manner. Previous experience in either of the fields above is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research and analyze cases to determine if the Firm can pursue them.
  • Interpret laws for clients and help them understand all their legal rights and responsibilities.
  • Aim to resolve cases as quickly and favorably as possible.
  • Manage pre-litigation team.
  • Prepare and draft legal documents, including legal briefs, appeals, pleadings, discovery request & responses, demands, motions and memorandums.
  • Attend depositions, mediations, trials, arraignments, hearings, and negotiate settlements.
  • Day-to-day management of your team.
  • Undergo ongoing training to stay updated about changes and new developments in the legal field.

Requirements:
  • Juris Doctor of Law degree from an American Bar Association accredited law school.
  • Passed Florida State Bar exam.
  • 3+ years' experience in either Personal Injury or Criminal Law.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong critical thinking and research skills.
  • Ability to manage a high volume of cases in various stages.
  • Compassion and a Demand for Justice.
  • Highly proficient computer-based skills including but not limited to: MS Office, case management software, MS Teams, MS Office.
  • Ability to work autonomously and with a team of attorneys.
  • Must be a self-starter and be goal-oriented with a focus on long term career goals.
