Duties include:
- Conducting legal research using various resources such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and contracts
- Assist with case management and preparation for litigation
- Participate in negotiations and settlement discussions
- Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings and trials
- Provide legal advice and guidance to clients
- Collaborate with paralegals on complex cases
- Oversee Paralegals, case managers and each of the clients' cases
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school (recent graduates are encouraged to apply)
- Admitted to practice law in NY
- 2+ years in NY No Fault Law
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
- Experience with legal drafting and document review
- Familiarity with court procedures and rules of evidence
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
