A Law Firm Has Provided Unparalleled Legal Counseling is seeking a municipal law attorney with 3-7 years' experience representing public entities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to take on complex legal matters and work in a high-paced environment, have good writing skills, and have the ability to take initiative as well as the ability to work collaboratively with agency staff and elected officials. Applicants must demonstrate a working knowledge of the Brown Act, the Public Records Act, Conflict of Interest law, election laws, and public contracting. Knowledge and experience working in land use, zoning, CEQA and the Surplus Lands Act or in cannabis is a plus. Ideal candidates will have experience working with public bodies and demonstrate effective communication skills.The salary range for a 3+ year attorney meeting these qualifications is $135,00-$185,000. The actual salary will be commensurate with the number of years of practice and relevant experience on the skillset sought. The firm also offers a year-end hours bonus for attorneys that make their hours and demonstrate exceptional performance throughout the year.
