Description:

At A Global Law Firm, we are looking for smart, imaginative and hard-working people with diverse backgrounds, experiences and ideas to join us. Perhaps our search for talented visionaries and your search for important and impactful work lead to the same place.

We are seeking an experienced associate to join the Labor, Employment and Workplace Safety (LEWS) practice in our dynamic Seattle office. The ideal candidate will have four to six years of experience counseling employers and drafting and reviewing employment policies and employment-related documents such as offer letters, employment agreements, and separation agreements. The candidate will advise on, and potentially litigate, a wide range of labor and employment issues, including hiring, discipline, termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, restrictive covenants, and wage and hour matters. The candidate would also work on the labor and employment aspects of business transactions, such as mergers and acquisitions. Finally, prior experience with traditional labor relations is a plus but not required.

Candidates will work closely with experienced lawyers who will provide active mentoring and opportunities to assume increasing levels of responsibility and client contact. Candidates must be self-starters who possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team. We require strong academic credentials, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing the highest quality client service.
