Description:

A Real Estate Fraud Lawyerfirm needs an articulate attorney with a ton of integrity to represent clients mediating SPDS non-disclosure disputes arising under the Arizona Association of Realtors® contract. The right candidate will love this position because of the opportunity to specialize. You're going to focus on an inch-wide niche of law and go at least a mile deep. Within the first few months, you'll have more experience in this particular area than any Arizona attorney outside our lawfirm. On top of that, you'll have an opportunity to earn over total compensation of over 150k if you do well.

This position requires strong analytical and technical abilities and demands fast, but carefully thought-out results. Strong leadership and control of the work process from beginning to end is necessary.

If you've been looking for a chance to specialize, this is the job for you. You'll develop substantial expertise in a narrow area. After a few months, you'll frequently be the most experienced person in the room. In fact, it won't take long before even the mediators realize you know more about this area than they do.

An ideal person for this role will be proactive, take initiative, and have a positive response to pressure. You'll feel comfortable completing your work without soliciting the feedback of others and pride yourself on your high standards. This is a role for a competitive person who understands that the most important competition is the one you have with yourself. You'll constantly be pushing yourself to be better.

You should already understand the mediation process and basic aspects of civil litigation. Trial experience is not required, but poise and confidence are. In this job, the successful candidate will be thoroughly trained in the relevant areas of real estate law and quickly become an expert in a narrow field few lawyers focus on. Within the first several months, you can expect to have more experience in this niche than most twenty year lawyers.

You'll also get a chance to avoid the billable hours grind. This firm sells mediation services in a non-hourly package. So the most important metrics will be the number of cases resolved, time to resolution, and percentage of successful settlements. In other words, you'll get evaluated on how many mediations you handle and whether you're successful, not how much time you burn.
