Our 30+ lawyer litigation firm is seeing a litigation lawyer to become part of the team or as a partner. The firm has been practicing in state and federal courts for the past twenty-two years. Each attorney has their own docket of between 15-25 cases. Litigation Partners manage a team of two to three associates. You will litigate your own docket, and in some cases, as a member of the litigation team. You will represent clients in deposition and in court for hearings and trial. You will prepare legal documents and motions. You will advice clients on litigation strategy and engage in settlement negotiations in mediation. Previous litigation experience is required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are mandatory. This is a hands-on litigation position.Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in court.
- Take depositions of lay and expert witnesses.
- Consult with clients, opposing counsel and the judiciary.
- Coordinate and communicate the case handling with claims personnel.
- Negotiate settlement for legal disputes.
