Description:
Job Responsibilities:- Medical case review
- Negotiating and settling cases in the pre-litigation stage
- Review policies, claims and other records
- Prepare, write, and argue legal documents, including but not limited to memos, theory of liability and demands
- Communicate with insurance companies and make sure client medical treatment is managed and billed accordingly
- Communicate with clients to provide case status update
- Conduct intake meetings with new clients
- Manage docket of cases according to office policy
- Conduct and attend IME's, EUO's and recorded statements
- Exercise a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism
Licensure:
Must be currently licensed in the state of Ohio and in good standing.
Skills and Abilities:
- Must have experience in personal injury law of a minimum of 2-5 years
- Strong negotiation, communication and writing skills
- Intermediate to advanced-level computer and general office skills; strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively communicate through both verbal and written electronic correspondence
- Demonstrate an ability to analyze corrective action opportunities and present recommendations
- Analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
