The New York office of A Multi-Practice Regional Law Firm, has an opening for a bright, energetic, and hard-working litigation associate. The candidates should have 4-6 years' experience in complex commercial litigation. The position provides the opportunity to work both independently and as part of our strong litigation team.Responsibilities:
- Handling all aspects of commercial litigation, drafting pleadings and motions, preparing discovery and handling discovery disputes, taking and defending depositions, court appearances, day to day case management and client management.
- Appear before state and federal courts of New York and arbitrations.
Qualifications:
- Superior academic credentials
- Excellent researching skills
- Exceptional writing and communication skills
- Must be bar admitted in the state New York
- Must have New York State court experience
