Description:
We are seeking an Associate Attorney to become a part of our team! The right candidate will be a motivated, self-starter with a minimum of 3+ years of litigation experience (personal injury and/or commercial/business litigation experience preferred) and capable of independently managing caseload from beginning to end, but also able to work closely with other attorneys or Partner on cases. Candidate should possess strong advocacy skills and have the ability to think creatively and analytically. Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in court
- Attend depositions and mediations
- Prepare and draft a wide variety of legal documents
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on various issues related to ongoing litigation cases
- Advise clients on business and legal transactions
- Comply with all legal standards and regulations
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA approved law school
- Must be licensed to practice in Louisiana (Required)
- Admission to LA Federal Courts (Preferred)
- At least three years of commercial/business litigation and/or personal injury litigation experience.
- Excellent work ethic and a can-do attitude
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
