Litigation Attorney - NC LicensedA Bankruptcy, Restructuring Law Firm is an established and reputable mid-sized law firm in desirable uptown Charlotte, North Carolina. We have a great hiring opportunity for the right candidate. We are looking to hire a litigation associate attorney to join our growing team!
The Ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to take ownership of files appropriate to their level of experience and will be a self-starter, confident, and team oriented. The firm prioritizes effective and timely communication with clients and colleagues, and successful candidates will share that priority.
While the preferred candidate will have 2-3 years of legal experience., the duties of a litigation associate will include but are not limited to legal research, drafting pleadings, taking and defending depositions, drafting and answering discovery, arguing motions, preparation, and assistance with mediations, trials, and arbitrations. The firm provides the opportunity to practice across its practice groups. Experience in construction or commercial litigation, e-discovery, and first chairing depositions is a plus.
North Carolina license is required. Some travel should be anticipated.
