An AV Rated Law Firm, a prominent full-service San Diego law firm, seeks a full-time litigation associate with 1-3 years of civil litigation experience. The firm's culture is collegial and encourages professional development. The ideal candidate will desire to work on substantive matters, including some high profile. Associate attorneys at the firm are responsible for day-to-day tasks such as drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery, as well as appearing for court hearings and depositions. Applicants should be eager to go to court and desire to be a trial attorney. Exceptional academic credentials and writing skills required. Compensation competitive in the market. Responsibilities:
- Manage assigned cases
- Handle cases from inception to conclusion
- Take and defend depositions
- Make court appearances
- Draft motions, pleadings and respond to discovery
Qualifications:
- Litigation experience preferred
- Strong research and writing skills
- Licensed to practice and in good standing in California
