Regular Schedule: 35 hours per week

A non-merit vacancy exists in the State's Attorney Office for A Government Entity with full County benefits, which includes affordable healthcare, paid sick and vacation days and paid holidays.

A list of eligible applicants will be established based on the examination as outlined below.

Current and future vacancies occurring in this class may be filled from the list of eligible applicants.

Examples of Duties:
Essential Job Duties:
  • May be responsible for preparing cases to be charged by Grand Jury or Circuit Court Criminal Information.
  • Prepares various documents and correspondence in an electronic Case Management System.
  • Gathers and compiles information for attorney work product.
  • Helps with all of the other office-wide law clerk duties.
  • Does research for attorneys.
  • Creates and prepares collateral and bail review files.
  • Prepares court rooms with AV equipment for upcoming trials.

Must currently be enrolled in law school (evening classes).

Diplomas or transcripts must show the applicant's major field of study. Copies and unofficial transcripts are acceptable.
