Description:
A Multidisciplinary, International Law Firm is seeking an Attorney to join our Labor & Employment Business Unit in Chicago, IL. Candidates must have 6+ years of practice experience and an active Illinois Bar license. The ideal candidate will possess the following experience and skills:
- Experience working with public and private employers in matters involving unfair labor practices, employee misconduct discipline, collective bargaining, and labor arbitrations
- Experience in general employment counseling with a broad range of employment issues including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage and hour disputes
- Willingness to interact with clients and the ability to think on their feet
- Exceptional work ethic, attention to detail, initiative, and motivation
- Desire to grow a legal practice
- Knowledge of police officer and firefighter disciplinary acts is a plus
