Description:

As a Labor and Employment Attorney at A Full Service International Law Firm you will be responsible for providing quality legal advice, representing clients in disputes, and managing a wide range of labor and employment matters. This role requires a deep understanding of federal and state employment laws, as well as the ability to handle cases with professionalism and discretion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide legal representation to clients in labor disputes, employment discrimination cases, wage and hour claims, and other employment-related matters.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate employment contracts, policies, and procedures.
  • Drafting pleadings, including motions, discovery requests and responses, and other substantive filings.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to prepare for litigation and arbitration.
  • Represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, conference, depositions, administrative hearings, and court proceedings.
  • Develop strategies to minimize risk and efficiently resolve disputes.
  • Stay updated with changes in labor and employment law and advise clients accordingly.

Requirements:
  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in NY State with good standing.
  • Minimally 3-5 years of proven experience in labor and employment law.
  • Strong understanding of federal and state employment statues, codes, and regulations.
  • Excellent litigation, drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Proven track record of effectively managing cases and achieving client objectives.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Dedication to upholding the highest standards of professionalism and ethics.
