The Washington, D.C. office of An International Law Firm is seeking a junior associate with 1-2 years of experience to cover a broad range of environmental issues. The associate's primary responsibilities will include environmental due diligence issues and evaluation of risk mitigation measures in corporate and real estate transactions, RCRA, CERCLA, CAA, CWA, TSCA, FIFRA, and state law compliance issues, environmental enforcement matters, climate disclosure and ESG issues, and litigation with respect to agency challenges under the Administrative Procedure Act and core environmental statutes, particularly the CWA, NEPA, ESA, CERCLA and analogous state statutes. Strong academic credentials, excellent research and writing skills, and ability to work on widely varying matters as part of a dynamic team are a must.
