A Recycling Center has been in business since 2005. We are a growing company that collects and recycles used cooking oil. With over 18 years in business, we collect and process used cooking oil for the production of Biodiesel, a carbon reducing alternative fuel to Hydrocarbons. We operate in 15 States with service to over 22,000 locations and growing. A Recycling Center is subject to and complies with the Federal Drug-Free Workplace Act.
Responsibilities:
- Drafting correspondence, pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and discovery demands and responses
- Negotiating settlements with adverse parties
- Contact clients in an attempt to avoid litigation
- Make occasional (supervised) court appearances
Qualifications:
- Permitted to practice law in New York State
- Minimum 1 year of civil litigation experience, specifically handling breach of contract matters
- Fluent understanding of electronic filing via NYSCEF
