Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience and will be expected appear before the Immigration Court in Los Angeles as well as occasional trips outside of Los Angeles. Immigration court cases consist of Asylum, cancellation of removal, bonds and any other related matters.
In addition, to court appearance the ideal candidate will also have knowledge and understanding of USCIS matters and procedures such as I-130, National Visa Center cases, I-601A waivers Adjustment of Status and a variety of other USCIS applications and matters.
Other duties will include:
- Legal research and writing skills including but not limited to declarations, motions, briefs, and appeals.
- A person with excellent organizational, analytical, communication, technical skills and willing to follow instructions. We seek an individual that is honest, eager to learn, cooperative and a team player.
- Spanish is a plus but not required.
