Description:

As the Senior Corporate Counsel, you will provide transactional services and regulatory expertise by serving as a lead business attorney with focus on supporting sophisticated commercial transactions with hospital systems and pharmaceutical companies. The role will also provide legal support in relation to collaborations with organizational clients and other partners to develop and deploy virtual health care products and services.

This role will be remote first. The person who fills this role must be within a commutable distance to An American Multinational Consumer Electronics Retailer Company office in Boston, MA or An American Multinational Consumer Electronics Retailer Company enterprise corporate campus located in Richfield, MN. Occasional travel will be required.

What You'll Do:
  • Help achieve sales and revenue targets by efficiently responding to and addressing all contractual issues in commercial agreements while assessing and mitigating legal risks and providing practical advice on business and legal terms.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Operations and Finance to implement price/quote tools, contract workflows, and related training.
  • Draft and negotiate a wide range of other commercial agreements.
  • Work collaboratively with other legal, risk and compliance professionals and across different departments especially in Quality, Regulatory, Operations, Information Security, Privacy, Finance, Accounting and Tax.
  • Assist with the implementation of policies related to legal process, corporate governance, and regulatory affairs.

Basic Qualifications:
  • JD degree from an ABA accredited law school, admitted to practice law in at least one state.
  • 8+ years of post-bar practicing attorney experience providing legal support in some combination of law firm, government or corporate settings.
  • 5+ years of healthcare legal and/or regulatory experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of technology transactional experience (e.g., SaaS).
  • 2+ years working in an in-house setting.
  • Prior experience with the following:
    • FDA and equivalent EU / UK medical device regulations.
    • Mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures.
    • Advertising and marketing compliance.
    • Contract lifecycle management.
