Description:

An International Law Firm Headquartered in Washington, D.C., a global Am Law 100 law firm, seeks a highly qualified Associate to join its Government Contracts practice group, working specifically with the cost accounting advisory and litigation area of the practice, from its Washington, DC office.

Qualifications:
Candidates must have at least 3-4 years of direct experience handling government contract cost accounting and pricing matters. Preferred experience includes: counseling clients on compliance with FAR Part 31 and Cost Accounting Standards, including in connection with responses to DCAA/DCMA audit reports and notices of potential CAS noncompliance; pre-COFD dispute resolution of cost accounting matters; representation of contractors in appeals at the ASBCA, CBCA and/or Court of Federal Claims involving cost accounting disputes, including experience drafting initial pleadings, discovery requests, and motions; providing advice and assistance with requests for equitable adjustment/contractor claims; and advice/counseling on compliance with Truthful Cost or Pricing Data Act and representation in defective pricing investigations/claims.
