A Full-Service Law Firm's Dallas office currently seeks a General Liability Attorney.This is an excellent opportunity for attorneys with litigation experience who are looking to continue to develop in their careers by joining a team within a large, national firm, or for those with general litigation experience who are interested in specializing in insurance litigation.

The Position:
Qualifications:
- JD from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice in the state of Texas
- 2+ years of defense litigation experience
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: Commercial Litigation, Commercial and Products Liability, General Liability, Personal Injury Defense, Motor Vehicle Accidents, and Insurance Coverage
- Experience drafting discovery and motions a must
- Experience handling court appearances, depositions and trial experience a plus
- Superior communication, writing, and research skills
- Legal project management experience is helpful
Responsibilities:
- Independently manage a litigation caseload, working cases from beginning to end
- Represent clients in a wide range of civil defense litigation claims
- Regularly handle court appearances and depositions (including expert depositions)
- Work closely with other attorneys and Partners on legal projects
- Communicate with clients and provide status reports
