Overview:
The Los Angeles office of A National, General Practice Law Firm, a full-service AmLaw 100 firm, is actively seeking a class action litigation attorney to join its Financial Services Practice.

The ideal candidate will be admitted to practice in California and have at least two (2) years of experience defending claims related to financial products and services in state and federal litigation. Class action litigation experience in complex business litigation is strongly preferred, including claims related to breach of fiduciary duty, real estate, partnership disputes, and consumer class action defense.

A National, General Practice Law Firm represents clients across a broad spectrum of financial services, including investment advisors, registered representatives, accountants, fiduciaries, and directors and officers. Our team of litigators have successfully defended cases across the country involving a variety of alternative investments, annuities, options, and other investment products and strategies. Our experience includes breach of fiduciary claims and other corporate governance issues. We also have extensive experience in consumer financial services litigation relating to alleged violations of various consumer finance-related statutes such as the federal Fair Debt Collection Practice Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act, and California's Rosenthal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and Rees-Levering Automobile Sales Finance Act.

Qualified candidates will have at least four years of solid litigation experience handling both individual and class actions (preferably in the financial services space), excellent written and verbal communication skills, excellent legal research and analytical skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
