Role Description:This is a full-time role as a Family Law Attorney at Dependency & CPS Law Attorneys located in Santa Ana, CA. Some remote work is acceptable. As a Family Law Attorney, you will be responsible for providing legal counsel and representation to clients in family law matters. Your day-to-day tasks will involve conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, representing clients in court, and negotiating settlements. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide effective legal advice and advocacy.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Active membership in the State Bar of California
- Specialization or experience in family law, probate
- Plus if you have dependency law experience
- Strong knowledge of family law statutes, regulations, and case precedents
- Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
- Ability to work independently and handle a high-volume caseload
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to empathize and work with clients in a compassionate and professional manner
- Experience in negotiation and conflict resolution
- Proficiency in legal research and case management software
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Bilingual is a plus
Experience in mediation or alternative dispute resolution is a plus.
