Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Estate Planning Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will meet with clients, provide legal advice and representation to clients and appear in court as needed.

Duties:
  • Facilitate meetings with clients in order to create estate plans
  • Make assessments of client needs and suggest suitable services
  • Assign projects to paralegals or legal aides
  • Conduct estate plan signing meetings
  • Maintain records and collaborate with paralegals and legal aides to guarantee quality and timely completion of work
  • Stay current with the latest estate planning techniques, probate rules, and relevant regulations
  • Attend courts, either virtually or in person, for probate and motion hearings
  • Keep track of billable hours and report to the supervising attorney weekly
  • Monitor case status and provide clients with updates

Requirements:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Proven experience as an attorney specializing in estate planning for at least 3 to 5 years, with preference given to those with experience with taxable estates. If you do not have estate planning experience, you will not be considered for this position
  • A strong liking for interacting with people through in-person, phone, or Zoom conversations
  • Proficiency in Wealth Counsel or similar software
  • Unfazed by technology and eager to learn new skills
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously

Education:
High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:
Estate planning: 1 year (Required)
