A Full-Service, International Law Firm's nationally recognized Environmental team is growing. Our Environmental litigators have represented states, port authorities, and other government entities in the most sophisticated and largest contamination and natural resource damages cases in the United States. We represent plaintiffs and defendants in clean-up, natural resource damages, cost-recovery actions, and insurance recovery cases under federal environmental laws—such as CERCLA—and similar state law actions. Our PFAS team represents more than a dozen states and sovereign entities, together with dozens more water providers and private sector clients, in high-stakes litigation related to PFAS contamination from industrial sources and aqueous film-forming foam (AFFF).

We are seeking a mid-level Environmental Associate to join the Firm's Houston office. Candidates must be licensed in Texas and have 3-5 years of experience in litigation. Environmental litigation experience preferred but not required.

  • Ligating in both state and federal court.
  • Running all aspects of discovery; drafting and arguing motions.
  • Taking and defending depositions.
  • Conducting fact and expert discovery.

Top academic credentials, strong analytical abilities, excellent client-relations and writing skills, and the ability to manage and work well on a team are required. Entrepreneurial self-starters seeking career and business development opportunities are encouraged to apply.
