Personal Injury and Consumer Law Firm - We are looking for a motivated, passionate individual who wants to work with our clients and negotiate for them. We need you to draft court documents, attend hearings, take depositions, represent clients in court, and work with clients to make a persuasive case. Delaware Bar Admission. Familiarity with litigation procedures and desire to take cases to trial.There is a base salary with a significant bonus structure.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support ongoing cases
- Prepare and draft legal documents, including briefs, and pleadings
- Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings and trials
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
- Provide legal advice and guidance to clients
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop case strategies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files
- Attend meetings and conferences with clients and other professionals
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations that may affect clients
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice law in Delaware.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Experience: The ideal candidate will have strong research, negotiation, and litigation skills. Training provided.
