Description:
A Woman Owned Law Firm is seeking Creditor's Rights Litigation Attorney with Specialization in Default Servicing and 2-5 years of experience.The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Experience in defending consumer and commercial actions alleging wrongful foreclosure (judicial, non-judicial and home equity), wrongful repossession of personal property, credit reporting, loan origination and servicing issues;
- Experience preparing answers, motions, discovery, defense of discovery, judicial foreclosures and other routine filings and attending mediation;
- First or second chair trial experience a plus;
- Strong knowledge of federal and state court practices and rules of civil procedure and evidence;
- Strong knowledge of the Texas Property Code, the Texas foreclosure processes, FDCPA, FCRA, CFBP and other consumer protection statutes;
- Demonstrated ability to handle high volume and be highly responsive to client needs;
- Case management experience (handled case from inception to resolution);
- Completely and professionally communicate with clients and supervising attorneys;
- Ability to work effectively with others as part of a team and
- Loss mitigation knowledge.
