Description:

A Woman Owned Law Firm is seeking Creditor's Rights Litigation Attorney with Specialization in Default Servicing and 2-5 years of experience.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:
  • Experience in defending consumer and commercial actions alleging wrongful foreclosure (judicial, non-judicial and home equity), wrongful repossession of personal property, credit reporting, loan origination and servicing issues;
  • Experience preparing answers, motions, discovery, defense of discovery, judicial foreclosures and other routine filings and attending mediation;
  • First or second chair trial experience a plus;
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state court practices and rules of civil procedure and evidence;
  • Strong knowledge of the Texas Property Code, the Texas foreclosure processes, FDCPA, FCRA, CFBP and other consumer protection statutes;
  • Demonstrated ability to handle high volume and be highly responsive to client needs;
  • Case management experience (handled case from inception to resolution);
  • Completely and professionally communicate with clients and supervising attorneys;
  • Ability to work effectively with others as part of a team and
  • Loss mitigation knowledge.
