Description:
A Medical Clinic is looking for an experienced Corporate Counsel to join our Legal Team! This is an exciting opportunity to work cross-functionally with in a fun and team-centric culture. This role offers the option of hybrid work arrangements with the Legal Team working in-office 3 days/week and remotely 2 days/week. At the end of the day, we're all collaborating together to ensure the success of our Zephyr Valve programs to help patients breath easier around the globe.Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting, negotiating, and managing the contracting process for the full range of contracts, including customer agreement, commercial contracts, non-disclosure agreements, consulting agreements, distribution agreements, service agreements, and supplier contracts.
- Provide support and advice for drafting of securities filings and disclosures.
- Provide legal support and counseling to commercial, engineering, and other business teams across range of corporate and business areas.
- Assist with other corporate work, including litigation, investigational and employment related projects.
- Work with specialist outside legal counsel on range of matters in variety of U.S. and international jurisdictions.
- Provide support for business development and due diligence activities.
- Assist with management and support of the Company's privacy and healthcare compliance program.
- Must be able to manage outside counsel resources effectively and efficiently.
- Must be able to effectively work with cross functional team on range of projects and programs.
Requirements:
- JD from accredited law school.
- Must be admitted, active and in good standing with the California state bar, or with another state bar and registered, or eligible to register, as in-house counsel with the State of California.
- 2-6 years minimum of experience working in law firm and/or in-house legal department.
- Ability to develop cross-functional relationships and offer guidance and counsel informed by the company's business goals and priorities.
