Description:
Position Summary:A Cybersecurity Company is looking for a Commercial Counsel to be a “hands-on” member of the legal team and support the company in its mission to build a safer internet. You will be asked to leverage your contract negotiation and drafting skills and to collaborate cross-functionally with teams at A Cybersecurity Company, all while working in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
What you will do:
- Draft and negotiate a high volume of SaaS agreements, distribution agreements, reseller agreements, data processing agreements, NDAs, and other ancillary documents relating to A Cybersecurity Company products and services.
- Review product and commercial matters, including vendor and partnership agreements, go-to-market enablement, and other matters as they arise.
- Advise on corporate governance matters, audits, annual report filings, and other corporate transactions.
- Work cross-functionally on a variety of legal matters to support business development and innovation across markets.
- Contribute positively to the legal team and to the company.
- Provide clear and pragmatic legal advice to non-lawyers on a mix of commercial and corporate matters.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate of an ABA-accredited law school (JD) and bar admission in good standing in your practice jurisdiction.
- 5 years of legal experience at a law firm or in-house, including transactional experience and ideally with international exposure.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects with competing priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to change within a rapidly growing company.
