Description:
We are looking for an experienced, dynamic attorney to join our growing, established, and collegial in-house legal department. Our new team member will have strong prior generalist experience, with a focus on corporate real estate, contracts, and governance. The ideal candidate works collaboratively across functions at all levels and has demonstrated experience in the pet and vet care industry. This position will report to the Associate General Counsel in the Legal and Compliance Department.Requirements:
Job Requirements:
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school
- Barred and in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction, with proper eligibility to practice law in Colorado if located in Colorado
- 4-8 years of corporate, real estate, governance, and general commercial experience gained at a reputable law firm and/or corporate law department, preferably in a similarly complex multi-business with demonstrated collaboration skills
- Effectively and efficiently manage relationships with outside counsel including contracts, customer disputes, corporate real estate, and potential litigation or claims involving A Veterinary and Pet Resort Facilities Company
- Commitment to working in a true team-oriented, collegial environment
