The position will report to the Head of Legal.

Overall Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that the Company conducts its business in compliance with applicable laws, regulations and rules
  • Participate in the design and development of corporate policies, procedures, best practices and programs required for a growing organization
  • Provide counsel and guidance on legal matters, and on legal implications of all matters
  • Keep abreast of ongoing governance and regulatory changes and report directly to the Head of Legal
  • Provide legal advice, opinions and solutions regarding complex issues and risks relating to the on-going and expanding business by working closely with internal teams
  • Draft, negotiate and review a broad range of commercial agreements, such as master services agreements, license agreements, vendor agreements and employment agreements with consultants, suppliers, venders, retailers, partners, personnel, etc.
  • Deliver creative, timely, proactive and business-friendly advice and training in a fast-paced, competitive and evolving environment
  • Work closely with all business units to address ongoing legal needs

Job Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree plus a J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
  • Member in good standing of a state bar, preferably New York
  • Successful legal experience in top law firms or top CPG companies including E-commerce/digital, global experience
  • 5-7+ years of directly related work experience – Intellectual Property, Trademark and Litigation experience preferred
  • Proven ability to implement policies and projects across an international organization
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced and results-driven environment
  • Commercial mindset, with an agile and relationship focused approach
  • Ability to creatively analyze and address novel issues and think outside the box
  • Comfortable working a hybrid schedule (Remote + at least 1 day per week in our NY Office)
