An American Multinational Technology Company's North America Stores business is seeking a talented attorney to support our WW Customer Trust team, within the Selling Partner Services business. The team's mission is to guarantee customers a trustworthy and worry-free shopping experience across all our WW stores. Providing customers with this confidence is critical to making the store successful, and in turn enabling the long-term success of our selling partners.

You will provide day-to-day legal support to business partners focused on building products and services that help earn and maintain trust with customers and selling partners and prevent fraud and abuse, using innovative technology, analytics and science. You will advise on a broad range of product, commercial, transactional and regulatory matters; analyze novel legal issues; and help define strategic priorities.

Key Job Responsibilities:
  • Providing ongoing legal counseling in a wide range of legal areas, such as intellectual property, consumer protection, privacy, and regulatory compliance
  • Serving as lead counsel and directly advising business clients on product/services and strategic partnerships
  • Resolving issues that arise in existing commercial relationships and handling pre-litigation legal disputes and inquiries
  • Structuring, drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements, including technology, distribution, licensing and marketing contracts

Basic Qualifications:
  • J.D. degree and membership in one state bar
  • 5+ years of legal experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • In-house experience is a plus
  • Experience handling intellectual property matters, such as copyright and trademark/authenticity issues, is a plus
  • Ability to demonstrate sound judgment in ambiguous situations
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects at once, follow through, and meet deadlines
