About This Role:
Our Legal team is looking for a Commercial Attorney to join our rapidly expanding team. The responsibilities for the role are as follows:
  • Assists the Sr. Corporate Counsel in support of the global sales organization including review and negotiation of various forms of commercial contracts and advising on commercial programs.
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to Market Access, Payer Relations, and Commercial Sales business clients, including providing guidance related to new programs and pricing structures.
  • Independently review and draft contracts, and lead negotiation of strategic contracts.
  • Stay current on relevant legal developments in the biotechnology industry.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts within the Legal Department, Regulatory, and Compliance teams.
  • Collaborate with other business partners and senior attorneys to develop innovative legal strategies and solutions.
  • Exercise sound judgment and demonstrate strong business acumen.
  • Effectively communicate with all levels of A Digital Healthcare Company including the Legal Departments' senior leadership.
  • Performs legal research and writing and other duties as directed.

Qualifications:
  • 3 -5 years of commercial agreement experience, including health law, medical device, or life sciences.
  • General knowledge and/or experience with health law including:
    • Fraud and abuse laws (Anti-kickback, Stark, etc.)
    • Compliance:
    • HIPAA and HITECH
    • National Physician Payment Transparency Program (a/k/a Sunshine Act)
  • Commercial and Government Payer experience is a plus.
  • Excellent writing ability, research skills, and analytical thinking.
  • Must be a self-starter and able to complete projects in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to meet project responsibilities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, high-volume organization.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with cross-functional collaboration, as needed.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • This is a Remote position but must be able to flex working times to align with the Pacific Time Zone.
