Minimum Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and be a Florida licensed attorney in good standing with no prior disciplinary proceedings that resulted in the imposition of any penalty. Two (2) years of litigation experience are required. The employee in this position must take the Florida Coalition Against Domestic Violence (FCADV) Core Competency Training within 60 days from the date of employment. Proof of education, license requirement and work experience to meet minimum qualifications must be presented and will be verified.

The CAHSD Legal Advisor (Injunction For Protection (IFP) Project Attorney) will work under the leadership of the Division Director of the Violence, Prevention, & Intervention Division (VPID) with dual reporting to the Florida Coalition Against Domestic Violence (FCADV) Injunction For Protection (IFP) Project Managing Attorney and will provide legal advice and direct representation to survivors of domestic, dating or sexual violence or stalking in temporary and final injunction for protection proceedings and prosecutions of violations of injunctions. The IFP Project Attorney shall represent him/herself as the IFP Project Attorney for Safespace.
