An Appeals, Bankruptcy Law Firm is seeking an attorney with a minimum of 1 year of experience for our Uniondale office.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis to support litigation efforts.
  • Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, briefs, and motions.
  • Collaborate closely with senior attorneys to develop and execute case strategies.
  • Participate in court appearances, hearings, and negotiations.
  • Establish and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and advocacy.

Required Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Must have an active NY state bar license.
  • Minimum of year of litigation experience in the commercial law (contract disputes, partnership disputes, bankruptcy litigation, class actions, securities litigation, consumer protection) practice group while in NY.

Preferred:
  • Prior employment at a premier law firm.
  • Previous experience as a Paralegal or Case Manager.
  • Successful completion of a Federal Clerkship.
  • Involvement in Legal Law Journal/Periodical while in Law School.
  • Exceptional academic record.
  • Excellent writing skills, as demonstrated by a writing sample.
  • Proficiency in end-to-end case management, showing a comprehensive understanding of the legal process.
