Employment Attorneys seeks highly ambitious attorney with 2 or more years of civil litigation experience to work closely with senior and partner attorneys in our Sacramento Office. The ideal candidate has in-depth experience in high profile cases including labor and employment law, trial and appellate litigation in California and federal courts, complex civil, class action and collective action litigation, Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), the U.S. and California Constitutions, the California Public Records Act (CPRA), the Public Safety Officers Procedural Bill of Rights (POBR), the California Labor Code, the Meyers-Milias-Brown Act, and other statutes protecting the rights of employees.

The ideal candidate will be primarily responsible for handling all aspects of a significant caseload, including representation of public safety employees. This includes prompt client communication, retaining and working with expert witnesses and consultants, preparing and filing pleadings, conducting discovery, taking and defending depositions, witness preparation, law and motion hearings, conducting trials, drafting and arguing appeals and all other aspects of litigation.

Admission to the California State Bar, immediately transferable skills, excellent client communication skills, excellent writing skills, and work diligently with the client.
