A premier intellectual property law firm in Washington, DC, is seeking an experienced patent attorney to join its thriving chemical and biotechnology patent prosecution practice. This position will provide the opportunity to work on a wide variety of patent prosecution matters in the biological, biotechnology, chemical, and pharmaceutical fields with quality domestic and foreign clients.The ideal candidate will possess an advanced degree in biochemistry, microbiology, molecular biology, organic chemistry, pharmacology, or a related field. Candidates must have three to five years of chemical or biotech prosecution, PTAB post-grant proceedings, and/or opinion experience. Must be registered to practice before the US Patent and Trademark Office and an advanced degree is strongly preferred. Top academic credentials, strong analytical abilities, excellent written and oral communication skills, and the ability to work well on a team are required.
