Description:

Bankruptcy Attorney will provide assistance in reviewing high volume nationwide bankruptcy matters. Provide review and oversight to ensure all appropriate actions are taken to expedite files. Attorney will act as a liaison between clients, vendors, outside counsel, courts, trustees, and other bankruptcy personnel. All files will be managed in accordance with applicable bankruptcy rules (Federal and local) and firm-established rules, goals & objectives. Work within the firm's case management system. Monitor and review various pleadings and orders as well as ensure that client and firm management systems are accurately updated and maintained.

The Bankruptcy Attorney will report directly to the Firm's Supervising Bankruptcy Attorney and accept other duties as assigned from management.

The Attorney must be licensed to practice law in any state they are hired and is responsible for overseeing all legal aspects for cases.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Review high volume nationwide bankruptcy matters for client cases
  • Research and analyze statutes, judicial decisions, legal articles, codes and the like
  • Communicate with clients, internal staff and others to ensure case is handled appropriately
  • Input and maintain information into case management system and ensure data integrity
  • Prioritize and work at a fast pace on a high volume of files, with a great attention to detail
  • Other duties as assigned.
