Responsible for performing legal services involved with pre/post foreclosure sales, including, loss mitigation, probate, deceased debtor issues, reviewing title process, and conducting communications with clients, debtors, and attorneys.
Hybrid after training.
Primary Accountabilities:
- Review and prepare legal notices and other title documents such as assignments and deeds required under the California foreclosure process.
- Review and prepare notices required for Federal Debt Collection Practices Act.
- Review and analyze title defects. Prepare title curative documents. File title claims, and work with title companies to cure title defects.
- Review and analyze issues arising from debtor/attorney disputes. Communicate with borrowers, attorneys and clients regarding the resolution of the dispute.
- Performs additional duties as requested.
Position Preferences:
- Doctor of Jurisprudence.
- Licensed to practice law in the state of California.
- Minimum 0 -2 years' experience
- Must be PC literate and able to rapidly adapt to a variety of data base systems.
- Ability to represent the company in various forums to foster the desires and image of the company in the community
- Pay Commensurate with experience.
License/Certification:
