Job Overview:We are seeking a skilled Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in legal research, drafting, and courtroom experiance. Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research using tools such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis
- Draft legal documents including briefs, pleadings, contracts, and agreements
- Represent clients in court proceedings and negotiations
- Provide legal advice and counsel to clients
- Manage and oversee legal administrative tasks
- Collaborate with colleagues on complex legal cases
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the state bar association
- Proven experience in legal research, writing, and litigation
- Strong negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Competency in handling state and federal criminal cases.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Proficiency in using Lexis-Nexis for legal research
- Experience in legal drafting and negotiation
- Familiarity with Clio
