Description:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Associate Attorney with litigation experience to join our dynamic legal team. This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of litigation matters, with a focus on commercial real estate and landlord/tenant law.Responsibilities:
- Handle a diverse caseload of litigation matters related to real estate, including commercial properties and landlord/tenant disputes.
- Conduct legal research, analyze case law, and develop effective legal strategies.
- Draft, review, and le legal documents, pleadings, motions, and correspondence.
- Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
- Provide legal counsel and guidance to clients on real estate and landlord/tenant issues.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases, learning from their expertise.
- Prepare and respond to discovery requests, including document production and review.
- Attend client meetings and maintain clear communication throughout cases.
- Keep up-to-date with changes in real estate laws and regulations.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Litigation experience, with a preference for real estate and landlord/tenant law.
- Knowledge of commercial and residential real estate laws and regulations.
- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate complex legal concepts clearly.
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in using legal research tools, case management software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
