A Leading, Sector-Focused Global Law Firm seeks an Attorney with 2-5 years of experience to join our insurance coverage litigation group in Washington DC. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with insurance coverage or litigation experience who has an interest in working on complex insurance coverage matters.This thriving practice represents and advises national and international insurers in a broad range of coverage cases including a wide range of complex insurance coverage matters involving mass torts, environmental claims, asbestos, construction defects, defective products, first-party property coverage, terrorism, and catastrophes.
What You'll Do:
- Analyze insurance policies, draft coverage opinions, and provide coverage advice to clients.
- Conduct rigorous legal research, analyze findings, and draft memoranda.
- Prepare and review pleadings, memos, briefs, discovery, motions with supporting briefs, and other legal correspondence.
- Engage in formal correspondence with opposing counsel and other parties.
- Attend depositions, hearings, and mediations as required.
- Possesses excellent academic credentials;
- JD 2020 or 2021;
- Admitted to practice in Washington DC;
- Experience or interest in working on complex insurance coverage matters;
- Excellent legal research, writing, and verbal communication skills;
- Exceptional attention to detail;
- Strong organizational and time management skills;
