A Physician-Owned Specialty-Care Clinic Corporate Headquarters is looking for an Associate General Counsel to join our team in Green Bay, WI. We're looking for a compassionate, thoughtful candidate who wants to contribute to a positive experience for all our patients. The typical hours for this role are Monday-Friday from 8:00am - 5:00pm. No Holidays! No Weekends!

A Physician-Owned Specialty-Care Clinic is a successful, dynamic group comprised of 20+ specialties. We are a physician-owned entity with joint ownership in Aurora BayCare Medical Center, a 167-bed hospital located in Green Bay, WI, offering us a built-in referral base. The Job:
  • Serves as a consultant and provides accurate legal guidance on all matters that affect the company.
  • Provides legal oversight regarding healthcare compliance and risk management activities.
  • Drafts and administers various contracts, operating agreements, and employment agreements.
  • Assists in development of company policy, procedure, and processes to ensure legal compliance.
  • Conducts research, anticipating and guarding company against legal risks.
  • Consults and handles company legal processes as assigned.
  • Work in a safe, compliant and ethical manner at all times.
  • Respect and maintain confidentiality.

The Requirements:
  • J.D. required.
  • Minimum of three years' applicable experience.
  • Background in contract law, and real property law preferred.
  • Background in healthcare law preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience related to health care compliance, HIPAA, and release of records a plus.
  • Current license to practice law.
  • Analytical ability and strong attention to detail.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Superior negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively handle multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work independently in a self-directed manner with minimal supervision.
